Certification Audit at NPP Neem Products Paraguay: Cultivating Integrity from the Ground Up

As part of our dedication to transparency and continuous improvement, this audit focused on two critical areas of our operation: neem cultivation and processing.

Day 1: A Close Look at Our Neem Fields and Processing Facilities

The first day of the audit began with an on-site visit to our neem plantations and nurseries. The auditors examined our fields for compliance with organic practices, checking for the absence of inorganic materials and verifying our approach to neem cultivation. We guided the auditors through our expansive neem fields, where they observed how our team’s commitment to environmental stewardship is put into practice. They also inspected the nurseries where our young neem plants are carefully nurtured before being transferred to the fields, ensuring compliance with all bio standards.

After spending the morning in the fields, the auditors visited our processing facility, where raw neem materials are transformed into the high-quality products our customers rely on. The auditors were guided through each stage of the production cycle – from the moment fresh neem leaves arrive at the facility, to the precise handling and treatment they undergo before being packed for distribution.

We demonstrated the meticulous nature of our processing, ensuring that every step maintains the integrity of the neem while complying with bio-organic standards. Special attention was given to the cleanliness and efficiency of the production line, with the auditors taking time to examine the equipment and procedures we use to process leaves, seeds, and other neem derivatives. This was a chance to showcase our commitment to delivering products that are both sustainably produced and of the highest quality.

Day 2: Diving Into the Documentation

Day two of the audit was focused on the critical review of our operational documentation. The auditors meticulously checked all the records related to our cultivation process, from detailed logs of field activity to what we’ve declared in our Operational Management Plan (PMO).

They scrutinized the paperwork connected to every step of production, including ticket information, conversion rates, and various operational details, ensuring there was consistency and accuracy throughout. We also presented them with comprehensive records of our processing facility, giving them full access to our data to confirm that our internal procedures align with the certification's high standards.

By the end of the audit, our documentation had been cross-verified with the field and factory visits, offering a complete picture of how we run a tight, well-organized, and compliant operation.
